God's Speed!
This post is for all our members here at OH that have had to evacuate their homes due to the current situation with HURRICANE GUSTAV. I want to wish you God's speed that you, your families, your homes and belongings will remain safe.
Please let us know all is well; as soon as you are able! My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Thanks. I live in the New Orleans area. We evacuated to the Dallas area as two of our sons live there. We just drove 12 hours today to get back home. It was horrible, the traffic and driving rain. I am so tired and I have to work tomorrow. I am so tired of evacuating every summer. I wish I was rich enough to sell my house and move out of state. They said Ike might get into the gulf.

I made it home this morning and found everything fine at my apartment. I just woke up and now I'm hungry and since everything spoiled in my fridge I'm going on a hunt for dinner. For those of you in the area wondering what's open, I found this link at the 870.com website: http://wwl.com/Store-Openings/2901169. I'm headed to Rouse's now...I'm starving.
