Fla resident wanted to say: Lousiana, you are in my prayers

Hi, as I write this my brother Greg is on the road like so many other residents, evacuating from New Orleans. I just spoke to him and he has been on the road for the last 6 hrs and has gone less than 100 miles. The gridlock is terrible. He said that many have pulled off the road as they have ran out of gas just waiting for the traffic to move.

I am certainly no stranger to hurricanes as we went through 2 back to back in 2004. But what we went through can in no way compare to what NOLA went through. My heart is so saddened that they will have to endure this again. You are all in my prayers. God Bless!

Thank you so much Gina.  I'm glad this wasn't a repeat of Katrina and I'll be getting on the road in the am to head back home.
