Pls recommend a psych for me

Apparently there is a long wait to get a psych evaluation at Ochsner in New Orleans.  I want to get an evaluation done somewhere else so my insurance paperwork doesn't get held up for 1-2 extra months.

Can you recommend a psych for an evaluation?  New Orleans, Slidell, Baton Rouge, wherever.

Kim VanGeffen is who I used. She is great and very understanding. She is out by the Lake Front on Robert E. Lee Blvd.

Well Lake Charles area is Dr. Whiteman. Appointments are easy to get in to. Usually like 1-2 weeks. And I heard his report is submitted to your WLSurgeon within 3 business days.
His number is 337-477-7091. I have an appt. today and my results will be sent to my doctor by August 19th. (not counting weekends).
Payment is required up front, then they file to your insurance..

i was able to have my psych evaluation with a great lady, her name is Mindy Milam. she is on canal street in New orleans close to the interstate 10. look her up very good at what she does. but not a psych. i believe she is a csw, does not do drugs but writes great letters to doctors.

I used Mary Munger Ph D. She is an older lady and was very nice. I would go back to her if I ever needed to. She is in Metairie at 300 Codifer Blvd. #C and her number is 504-832-3066.
