Did anyone use Dr. Hausemann?

Hi I just had surgery VSG 1 week ago and can't say enough good things about the staff at Dr. Hausemann's office and at Our lady of the lake. They were wonderful. I just was wondering what follow up was like with him. So far I have lost 19 lbs and so happy I made this choice.

Our doctors are partners -- Dr. Hausmann and Dr. LeBlanc -- and I consider him a very valuable part of my medical team. He assigned in my surgery and has, on several occassions, seen me in the office and offered a ton of advice and guidance. He is my doc and I LOVE LOVE LOVE him!!!!!!  He tells it like it is but in a nice way.  He never makes me feel like he is talking down to me or anything like that.  He is very involved and concerned with your success!

Yep, I am ususally there every month.

Dr. Hausmann is awesome!!!  His staff and the staff at OLOL were incredible.  He's as considerate and informative at all of your followups.

I have my 9 month checkup in August.  I've scheduled it for the day after our support group, so I can do both things at one time.  You see I live a couple of hours away, but have a son and his family who live in Holden.  I stay overnight with them, so I don't have to be on the road late at night.

Hope to see at the meeting on August 7th.  Keep up the good work.  Remember to get in all your protein and your water.

I just had my first two week post op with Dr. H he was great. I have lost 33lbs so far and feel great.
