Fage? RnY friendly foods?

Hi all, I just had my gastric  bypass last week done by Dr. Chung in Lake Charles.  I live in Leesville and I am having a hard time finding things I'd like to try. Is there anywhere in Lake Charles or Alexandria that sell Fage?  Health Food stores? Thank You!

I don't know anything about that area, but around here I can only find it at Fresh Market (which is like Whole Foods). So if you have one of those--that would be your best shot. Beware, though, I love it so much I can't make myself go back to Yoplait!!!!

Same deal here in Metairie, only Whole Food sells Fage. I've read a few people have been finding another Greek yogurt at Super WalMart by the name of Oikos, or something like that. I haven't found it yet. I make my own Greek type yogurt by buying fat free plain yogurt and putting it in a cheese cloth to get a lot of the water out. After about an hour its as thick as Fage. If you leave it in too long you'll end up with your yogurt being the consistency of cheese. I love it either way.

Walmart sells Oikos brand greek yogurt.  Tastes just like Fage. See what the packaging looks like on www.oikosorganic.com.   They have it in every Walmart in and around Monroe, so they probably have it there.

Rouses sells Fage in different flavors. Honey, Cherry, Strawberry and Peach. They are a little less expensive than Whole Foods, but I'm not sure if they have any Rouses in your neck o' the Louisiana woods.  Hannah

I'll have to look for the Oikos.  I honestly would not be surprised if the Wal-Mart here doesn't carry it.  I feel like I've stepped back about 20 years by moving here, lol.
