I have a week til surgery

It has taken me 2 years to get to this point I am scheduled for surgery June 12th,   having lapband. A little nervous going for pre-op tomorrow any encouragement appreciated   lol.   What does the pre op at the hospital entail?

Hello Cindy, The Lap Band pre-op work is very basic -- CBC, pregnancy test, EKG if you have HBP and lots of medical history questions. Some hospitals require a chest X-ray, but not all. The band placement surgery is usually very fast and fairly painless. I've known folks who were up, walking and driving the next day. I hope all goes well and God bless from your neighbor in Zachary.

Thanks Frances, I hope your recovery is going well after your surgery.  I have issues with low platelets and the doc said as long as they arent too low we can still do it   so send up a little prayer if you dont mind   so that my count is high enough..... Thanks for you encouragement
