Feeling Human again!
While I am still sore and I have to watch my every move, I am indeed feeling human again. I even blow dried my hair after my shower today. I am ready to feel as "normal" as possible I have made the decision to get back to my routines as well as I can while respecting that there are some things I just can't do yet.
I want to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes. It is great knowing there is an arsenal of WLS warriors in my corner!
Thanks for keeping us posted on your awesome progress!!! I haven't had surgery, yet, but I have an appointment with Dr. Lavin next Thursday. I have enjoyed reading your comments, and I am so happy for you! You are an encouragement to me and all the others that read your story. Keep up the good work, and it will be interesting to see what your new "normal" is like. I'm still praying for your speedy recovery.
This is the first time I have been online since you posted your out of whack blood work....I am glad it all worked out and you had your surgery. Sounds like you have a real positive attitude I promise that is half the battle....Stay positive it really gets you far in this journey....Congrats on your new life!!!

Each day get better. I am still having to take things slow but at least I am feeling like my old self again. I am in constant awe that I am not hungry and that I CAN survive on clear liquids. I am not even dying to get to the full liquid stage. I am having trouble with protein drinks and that does have me worried, but I can't imagine I am the first to have trouble and don't expect I will be the last. Thanks for checking in!
