Surgery again for a suspected internal hernia.
Im going in on May 12th for surgery for a suspected internal hernia. The pain is pretty bad but it started off just slight and I didnt think anything of it. Well the past few days it has gotten pretty bad everytime I try to eat something with lots of nausea and a dull ache at any other time of the day. This started two months ago with pains in my lower left side with slight nausea and has progressed little by little til I finally decided to call and make and appointment with Dr. Richardson last week. So dont be hard headed like me and ignore something when you have pain. It could be more than just a little ache.
I'm sorry to hear that you are battling a hernia. I do understand. Your symptoms sound right on target. I had my first hernia repair two months postop and later had six more hernia-related surgeries (four repairs, two wound openings) in my first two years postop.
Patience, prayer and painkillers -- work wonders!
Wishing you well,
Frances

Thank you, I didnt even know you were having surgery. I have not seen you in a few months. Im so glad you finally decided to go ahead and do it. Even though I have had problems I would do it all over again in a heart beat. Life is so much different now and much better. I hope you can make the next meeting, Im sure I will be there.
