New U meeting this week - open to all
Happy Monday OHLA!
The New U support group will meet Thursday at Our Lady of the Lake at 6:30 p.m. I know I was a great big tease last month, but a few weeks after my band removal I had a terrible case of the flu. I seem to be pain and flu-free this week and I would love to see you all there.
Our meeting with feature a patient-led group discussion and details on the soon-to-be launched New U support group Web site.
There will also be plenty of time to mingle, meet new friends and enjoy light researchments.
If you need directions to the Lake, please PM me and I'll pass on some numbers that might help.
Thanks for all the well-wishes and prayers before and after my surgery. I'm very pleased with my band results and lifestyle, but problems with my esophagus made the band uncompatible for me. I'm currently pondering a possible revision some where down the road and because of my knowledge of the benefits of all (and a dang fine case of diabetes), I'm consider "all" options.
Your prayers and support are, as always, golden.
Onward!
Frances
