I know that  because I'm 4months post op I should be taking calcium supplements now.  Is it okay to take Viactive or do we not absorb calcium carbonate??  I have the calcium citrate pills as well but i'm just so darn tired of swallowing horse pills!!!  Thanks

Hello Ebony, I thought I would suggest the Bariatric Advantage lozenge that is chewable in various favors. Link to info and ordering of Calcium Supplement I hope this helps. Hang tough, chick! Frances

I just love Viactiv, its like having 2 pieces of chocolate candy everyday.

I would not take the Viactiv.  It is calcium carbonate and people who have RNY do not absorb it as well as calcium citrate.  I take Bariatric Advantage chewable citrate.

I've been taking the Citracal Calcium Citrate PETITES.  They're smaller, about half as big, and easier to swallow. Jo
