There are support groups in Jackson and Hattiesburg.

Hey Thanks for the information. I'm closer to the BR area than I am Jackson, but Hattiesburg is good also.

Hi My name is Bev I live in the Baton Rouge area now but I am from Progress Ms when you said you was closer to BR than Jackson I figured you must be south of McComb LOL I just had gastric bypass on March 25th. Would love to chat anytime feel free to write me. There are a couple of support groups here. I know my surgeon has one at OLOL on the first Thursday of the month. Also someone told me Woman's Wellness Center on Bluebonnet and Jefferson Hwy have them every week but I haven't looked into that yet. Good Luck Hope to hear from you Hugs Bev

I made it last night. I wish everyone could have introduced ourselves. I was sitting on the right side of room think 3rd or 4th row back, blue shirt, black jeans and bleached blonde hair.lol I Was the One with the Coke Zero ....
