I was wondering does everyone have to have plastic surgery after gastric if you lose 100 lbs or more? Does everyone have sagging skin?

Yeh, it kinda  goes along with the whole deal....with different degrees....remember EVERYONE is different. But for me, being healthy and active again is worth a little extra skin. I 'weighed' the options....skin verses fat?...for me skin won!  Good luck in your journey.

I did kind of did it backwards.  I had a tummy tuck in 2005 and had surgery in 2007.  So, I have not experienced the sagging skin.  They removed over 10 pounds of skin and fat during my tummy tuck.  Even with weight gain afterwards during 2006, my tummy has stayed tucked...Thank God.

I have not always been overweight so what I can say is my skin is no more flabby than it was prior to me gaining weight.  I had issues after I had my three kids and I think my tummy looks the same.  I had issues with my boobs after having three kids and gaining over 60lbs with each of them and after my last one was born 13 years ago I got down to 125lbs actually lost  more than I had gained with him.  I have some sagging but nothing serious and clothes hide it very well.  Doesn't mean I don't want a tummy tuck and boob job but just don't see that happening anytime soon.

I need to lose 100lbs. But, I've been an exerciser all my life. I lift weights, walk the treadmill, elliptical and yoga. I hopefully wont have too. I only place I have baggy skin is in the usual baggy place for women................triceps.

Hi, I'm a new member but had my surgery 11 months ago. I have minimal lose skin on my breasts and lower abdomen. Has any found a particular exercise are creams that have helped with this?
