I had lapband 2 years ago, lost 65 lbs, my band slipped and i ate and ate well i gained almost all of it back. My band is still slipped and just got my approval to have the RNY done. I have a few questions...When people speak of a revision is that a RNY that has work on it? and a Conversion is a band to bypass?  I know there are addition risk involved when doing this and wonder if anyone here has had this done, how did it go for them and just in general what i am to expect from relaity viewpoint and not just the doctor? I see alot of you have used Dr Lavin, i am with Dr Warden. Is anyone in the SLidell area? And i remember when i first started trying to get this done there was a support group in this area, does anyone know when that is, i believe it was at Slidell Surgical Hospital.... Thanks for bearing with me and all the questions, just getting real excited since they are exppediting my surgery because the symptoms are getting worse daily with the slippage. Should have a date today...... Terri  Slidell , La

Terri, I think a revision can be a revision of an RNY or can be a revision of a lapband to an RNY.  I used Dr. Lavin but I have heard very good things about Dr. Warden.  He is in the same group as Dr. Lavin.  You are in very good hands.  You will love your RNY.  It is the best thing I did for myself.  Good luck!
