Good morning fellow Louisianians.   I intended to post this earlier this week but forgot.  It details my experience and emotions running the marathon.

I hope you guys enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing (and living) it.

Chad, I really enjoyed the first-hand report. I've been in journalism for a couple of decades and was wondering if you write for a living or as a part of your work -- it was a great piece of reporting! You have once again inspired me and my husband. I called him over when I was reading the account so he could see your before and after pictures. He's a big (loveable) guy and I do think that weight loss surgery is in his future so your story is always an opportunity for him to see what great results a real "he-man" like yourself has seen. You accomplished so much more than just running a marathon. Hat's off to you! Frances

Good morning, Jan, I'm struggling with pain today, but I'm gonna try "business as usual" and see what happens. I'm going to work and make a stop by the hospital for an angel visit with Nadia who's surgery starts "right now." After a long month of tests, pain and BR doctors, I'm trying to get an appointment with a Houston surgeon. My wls doctor is doing everything he can to help me and I'm really blessed to have him on my side. I appreciate the concern and prayers. Would love a fairly normal week. Frances
