I'm touched and yes, hurting quite a bit

I don't like keeping secrets, but I'm always so fearful of putting undue stress on you wonderful people. I'm pretty problem-prone and it's not because of bariatric surgery, but all the baggage I brought into my weight loss journey. I was scheduled to have my Lap Band removed today (Wednesday), but a EGD scoping Tuesday showed that the band is not at the cause of my pain and troubles. The band is picture perfect in position and function. I'm just broke down, I guess. It would have been sooo easy to quit a long time ago, but one big mountain stood in my way -- the bariatric staff of Drs. LeBlanc and Hausmann and the awesome group of patients who have combined to be my support system and my VERY REAL FAMILY. You all have know idea how much I'm encouraged and blessed to cheer you all on to victory and when I see someone surpass my weight loss milestones, I just sit in the dust and clap my hands until it hurts. Your victories are my victory. We aren't sure what the problem is, but SupaDoc KAL is searching high and low and leaving no stone unturned (I have the puncture marks to prove it). I've had seven surgeries since having the Lap Band and NONE of them were related to weight loss surgery, but all of them were related to my health and well-being. This practice has never left me -- even when I once tried to leave them! My fellow New Uers --- LeBlanc Lovelies and Hausmann Supermodels -- you need to know that you have not chosen a surgeon and a practice, you have chosen a life-long companion in your health and well-being -- weight on or weight off. Your prayers are appreciated and I promise to do a better job of sharing the load. So far, it's been tele-phone, tele-vision, tele-Bobbye! I don't mind being loved and supported -- it's just going take some practice on my part. Onward! Frances

Miss Frances!!  You are truly a blessing to everyone you meet whether they know it or not.  We need more people in this world like you.  I know I don't frequent the LA boards often and I don't know many of yall on here.  But you, Frances, are a gift...   You know that we are all here for you if you need someone to lean on.  We are all on this journey together.  Walking side by side...  No one should ever have to feel alone. Much love and hugs to you!!!!!!!!

Love as well as hate are emotions much too strong to be assigned to inanimate objects -- especially when so many children and adults are dying from a lack of it. I appreciate the science behind the Lap Band and what is affords me to do with my baby and husband -- who I love. I'm glad to see you back on your feet -- or at least typing. I've been thinking about you this week and praying all has gone well. I had faith in your RNY procedure to give you many, wonderful years with those who you love. Yes, SAVE THE PEOPLES! All my best, Frances

Francis, I am just stopping by the LA. Forum and read your post.  Bless your heart!!!I hope first of all that they find out what's aliling you and secondly, I wish you much peace and blessings.  I'm glad that it's not your band because it sounds like you have had much success with it.  I just want to say hang in there because we need you on the loser's bench.  It sounds like you are such a wonderful person by reading the other post's.  Hang in there and know that you have a friend in Ky....Chan

You are such a great support to everyone else, I want to give you my prayers and best wishes. I pray that the doctors can solve your problems. I think I saw some good news in there when you said your band is in perfect condition. Now the docs need some new answers. Gentle hugs and best wishes for your complete recovery.
