Staff at Ochsner Bariatric

  So far I've been pleased with Dr. Richardson's staff, but one thing gets under my skin.  YOU CAN NEVER JUST TALK TO ONE OF THE NURSES!!! You ALWAYS have to leave a message.  I do understand that they are busy and whatnot, but so are the patients.  Just ranting for a minute haha.  I love the staff mostly, except for that little annoyance I guess. 

Trust me if it is an emergency and you need to speak with them you can. But just for questions they are very busy and they do always call you back in a timely manner. You can also email them any questions you may have also.

Oh I know.  They're really sweet.  I actually talked to Jennifer today and she confirmed that I was approved for surgery.  So we set my date as March 12, 2008.  I have to start my pre-op diet Wednesday (yikes!) so that's all coming at me really fast!

congrats!  I'm new to the board.  i also see dr richardson, my sugery date is set for March 14.  I am very excited.  good luck to you. 

Glad you guys are on the LA board. Congrats on your date! I think this board should get more use. There are alot of WLS peps in LA and I think we should talk more. So, what do you say girls, lets get busy and talk. I just had my RYN on the 19th and very new to this WLS thingy. I could use some help from the other longtime RNYers. Jan
