trying to find a doctor ,who takes medicaid in louisiana

Hello everyone.Im trying to find a doc that takes medicaid in louisiana.Some one said southwest,but they only take it with medicare.Please email me [email protected]

I don't think many take it. Even if they do, medicaid doesn't pay for WLS, trust me, I tried for YEARS!!!  I know they did cover some a long time ago but not anymore. Unless they recently changed something. I am having the VSG done Feb 25th and I had to pay out of pocket. I remember some years back Dr. Mando in New Orleans took it but I don't know about now. Dr. George Merriman is Shreveport takes it.  He is wonderful.  I was insurance pay and they got me in pretty quickly.  But In his orientation he mentioned he only takes so many Medicaid patients a month.
