Stomaphyx

I know everyone has been hearing about the stomaphyx procedure and I am very interested in having it. I'm about 45 pounds over my goal weight and feel miserable. Does anyone know of a doctor in Louisiana or Mississippi doing these yet? I've been searching but haven't found anyone yet. Just thought I'd try asking you guys. Thanks in advance

Hi Leann: Dr Chung in Lake Charles will be doing this procedure in May.  He mentioned this procedure in our support group.  Sound kinda interesting.  Hope it works out well for you .  Jenn

Hi Leann You and I are in the same boat for sure.......I am about 45 to 50 pounds over my goal and I am convinced that my pouch is too big and so is my stoma.....I am having an endoscopic procedure to check the pouch size soon.....but I am extremely interested in stomaphyx and if I can find someone here in LA to do it, I would be willing to self pay if I have to. Anyhow, if you hear anything, will you let me know?  I will do the same. Thanks!!! Lorri
