I've heard really good things about that practice. I hope that you are pleased and have a great journey. They are, however, COE certified to accept Medicare, which is a federal program gaining acceptance for bariatric procedures. Medicaid, is a state program. Pre-Katrina, there were pratices in New Orleans and at teaching hospitals that worked within those bounds, but they seem to all have closed or had to limit their Medicaid load because of volume and limited (very) compensation rates from the Louisiana department overseeing the program.
