MEDICAID AND MEDICARE SURGEONS LIST!

Hi,Ive called this number and they are  now saying that  yes there is a weightloss  doctor  but  his clinic hasnt started yet,hmmm.I requested to speak to the general surgury department  directly and they would not  give me a number or  conect me,they say I must  have referal  faxed in.I explained that  I have   a few  specific questions that I need to ask,but  no  luck.

I have a lap band and need  it  removed and want  the sleave done.My doc is dr chung in lake charles,but   after a surgury date being   postponed  for removal,there is no  new  date set  because they are  haveing issues with approval   codes,it feels like  im  getting the runaround.And he is only   planing to remove it  ,he will not  be  revising to anything  esle as he feels its my fault  my band did not  work,and that  I blew my  1  chance,yes those are  his words. He is aware  I have a dilated esophagus and   has removed all fluid many  months  ago and  is aware  ive had  aspiration  in  my  sleep and  vomiting  basicall every time I eat  but  is  waiting  on   paperwork  from medicaid in  order to  remove  my  band.Im  soooooo frustrated.If there was a chance this doc in new orleans would help me it would be great,im desparate and  tired of  suffering with this pain.I need it  out NOW! iF  YOU  OR ANYONE HAS A DIRECT  NUMBER TO  THE GENERAL SURGURY  CLINIC PLEASE   HELP ME HERE

If you have a PCP then be sure to tell them you need a referral for Gastric Bypass through LSU Health Clinic @Lord & Taylor Building on Poydras Ave
They seem to have gotten me started but it's a long process after 2 yrs I got my surgery date set

I called the TULANE center today and they told me as of right now they do not take medicaid but, to call back every week cause they will be very soon. I also, asked about cash discount pricing but, I havent heard back from them yet on that.

I found a dr in Mererro by New Orleans who accepts medicaid.  I called and was told to complete the application.  After completing the app. and having my referral sent i was told that i lived to far away and that the dr only wanted to cover local residents.  I have been trying for two years to have this surgery and still cannot find someone to help.  I have medicaid only.

do you have a name and number for the dr in marrero that accepts medicaid? if so could you please share. Thanks.
