First Stall, but its ok.
Well its here, I have officially hit the first stall in my journey. (4th to 5th week post-op)
But its ok thanks to the info that I have recieved from this board, as I understand that this is a normal occurance.
My journey began on 9/7/07 (295#) with the pre-op liquid diet followed by G-bypass on 9/21/07.
6 weeks had passed and I averaged a 7.5# loss per week down to 250 #'s. I have remained there for the last week for an avg now of 6.4#'s per week.
I am ok with that for now because I felt that the weight loss per week needed to slow some. I hope to get to somewhere around 2-3 #'s per week.
It seems only natural that the weight will have to continue to decrease eventually due to the limited intake that we are allowed compared to pre-surgery amounts, and our bodies finnally begining to accept recovery from the surgery and return to our new "normal".
Will continue to maintain protiens and as much exercise as I can and see what happens over the next couple of weeks.
Thanks,
BKH
