Frustrated!!!

I had been doing great up until last week. Well, I got the results of the uterun biopsy, and it was inconclusive. I really was freaking out. I went to see the doctor the next day with a whole lot of questions. Come to find out the biopsy shows that the lining of the uterus is very thick. My doctor feels the risk of doing a hysterectomy now would not be the best thing for me due to just having gastric bypass only 5 months ago. So, next Thursday (Nov. 1) I will be going into the hospital for a procedure to get rid of the lining of the uterus. Hopefully this will stop the bleeding. I am so discouraged and frustrated!! On top of all that, I got on the scale this week and did not loose any weight. I started going to the gym everyday doing cardio for an hour in the morning, and 2 times a week going in the evening to do weights. I keep reminding myself that muscle weighs more than fat. I do, however, see a difference in my clothes. I am now in a size 14-16, down from a size 30-32 6 months ago.  Please keep me in your prayers! Hopefully things will be better after next week! Thanks,  Titania PS I am also having a big problem with loosing my hair!!! It if falling more that normal. I am eating my protien, but I have started exercising. When I started exercising 2 weeks ago is when I noticed the increasing hair loss. Anyone have any suggestions?

Titania, You're in my prayers.  I hope the procedure helps.  As for the hair loss, I read that biotin helps. God Bless, Jo

Oh girl. I hope this fixes everything for you.  About the hair - *cries* I'm almost bald headed, but everyone tells me that they can't tell. My hair is so thin I can barely hold a pony tail in. I take Biotin and lots of vitamins. Nothing helps.

I use Rexall Super Potency Biotin 5000mcg. I bought it from Walmart it cost under $8.00 it promotes skin, hair and nail health. It really worked great for me. I find my nails don't break as easy as they were and my hair falling out has improved really good. Pattie

Okay honey,  Let me start by saying I had the same exact female problems as you.  I just had 3 procedures done 4wks ago.  I had a D&C, tubal ligation and Novasure (new hysterectomy without surgery).  My doctor did not see any problems with having it even though Im only 3 months post op from WLS.  Everything went really good and yes my weight was at a stand still for a few weeks.  Its very frustrating but it will pass once you get all this taken care of.  Im just now dropping the weight again and so will you.  I am still in the 6 wk process of yucky-ness they tell you to expect but its much better than what I dealt with before.  As for the hair loss, it was not noticeable to me until after this surgery.  I think it took a toll on my body (the anesthesia) but most people dont even notice.  I know it will start coming back in so just make sure you get your protein and your biotin pills everyday.  You are doing an awesome job so dont let this get you down.  It too will pass! Good luck with your surgery and let me know if you want to ask me any questions.....Im here to help.
