2-Days Post-Op and feeling good!

I had Laproscopic Lap-Band surgery this past Thursday, October 4th, 2007. Dr. Gary Stevens at Medical Center of Southwest in Lafayette, LA performed the procedure. The surgery took approximately 2 hours, began at 12:00 noon and I was home by 6:00 p.m. All is well no complications. Slight pain in the chest area. Wasn't expecting the port to be placed between the breast on the breast bone and there is a little discomfort in that area. Dr. Stevens learned recently to place the port in this area instead of the naval area. So excited, lost 14lbs. pre-op and down 3 more pounds 2 days pre-op. Total 17 lbs. and 68 lbs. to go.!!!
