My fiance and I are eloping to New Orleans and that evening would love to have a very romantic dinner in the French Quarter. Money isn't an object. What restaurant do you suggest in the French Quarter with the best romantic atmosphere?? Thanks, Karen

I would recommend this website www.nomenu.com Tom Fitzmorris does the reviews and he is a good food critic. Just click on the link to a list of restaurants by neighborhood and then click on French Quarter. I have heard that Bayona is very romantic and good but I have not been there before. Also Antoine's, Broussards, and Brennan's are good.

I agree with Lynn's post above..but would add one restrauant..outside the quarter...Commander's Palace..always rated in the top eateries in the USA. Enjoy..Ken

My husband and I really love Muriel's. It's right on Jackson Square so you can sit and people watch. The food is also great--especially the pecan-crusted catfish!!!! Have fun on your honeymoon! Jen

I suggest Drago's at the Hilton in the French Quarter. They have THE BEST food around, as far as I am concerned! Make sure you try the charbroiled oysters. Don't be afraid...I hated oysters before I tried them and now I LOVE their charbroiled oysters. http://www.dragosrestaurant.com/index.htm
