SOOO much update,, knee surgery

HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY everyone,, I am soooooooo sorry its been forever OMG I have soooooo much news,, for 1 I GOT MARRIED!!!! Me and Elizabeth went on a cruise in july and got married in mexico july 11th,, it was amazing, the captain from the ship did the ceremony, it was stunning,, I do have pictures and all but I will have to figure out how to post on this new and improved ohla, it looks amazing,, 2) I had knee surgery,, after months of repeated test, trying different shots and meds,, I finally found a amazing ortho surgeron in convington,,, He went in to do a scope of my knee and ended up finding devasting news,, I have ABSOLUTLY NOOOO cartilage in my right knee, hence the mofo horrible pains I was having and clicking noises I was hearing,, he said in the 30years he's been in business he has never seen someone's knee sooo bad even older people,, He did a new surgery they are doing on all the football and basketball players called, MICRO FRACTURE surgery,, it sounds really nasty,, he drilled about a dozen holes in my top and bottom bones in my knee and let the bone marrow and blood bleed out and that will somewhat somehow form a artifical cartilage for a little while,, he said it normally last about 2-3 years if it even works, theres only a 75% change, great huh? BUT since my knee was worse then he has ever seen and because I am so young he said it will only last 1-2 years if that , and then I will either need to get it done again or we will need to do a knee replacement , which again will only last about 10years due to my age and activity and that will need to be redone,, The DEVASTING news was I can no longer be a paramedic ,, or anything on my feet for that matter, he said I would be crazy and stupid if I did anything on my feet,, so I have to find a desk job,, and NO NO NO that is soooo not me,, so I have been crushed and have to go back to school for something??  ON the good side ,, my sister is pregnant and having her baby next tuesday I am soo excited I could pee on myself,, we haven't had a baby around in like 15years,,me and eliz are actually talking about starting a family of our own and I am thrilled about that, but that will have to wait til my knee heals and I get a stable job,, I am on crutches for 8 weeks ,.non weight baring and I am going freakin CRAZY,, I hate crutches,,,, its miserable,,  TINA I am sooooooooo excited you had your baby thats wonderful, hope your doing great,, everyone on here is soo new I don't recongnize too many people, but I wish you all the best of luck!!

Ash, I am sooooooooo glad to hear from u I still come and see if any of the oldies post and was happy to see yours. Congrats on your marriage you and Eliz sound happy.  Sorry to hear about your knee though.  how is your wieght loss going?  I ahve leveled off I am between 135-145 up and down. I am tring to get pregnant so I am on hormones so that has something to do with it too. I had a lapersope done and hopefully this go around will work.  Take care and can't wait to hear from you, Chrissy
