Update

Hello everyone I know I haven't been around in a long time but I'm still here.  The baby has taken so much of my time, she is a handfull already.  For some reason it seems harder this go around, but it has been eight years since the last one.  The family is doing great.   For those that are curious about pregnancy after surgery mine went great.  All I took was a chewable prenatal vitamin and my levels stayed great.  My iron was outstanding, the doctor said it was awesome for a pregnant women and he was amazed at it since I had had gastric bypass surgery only a year before.  I gained 28lbs and lost 14 before I even came home.  So I only gained 14, so that wasn't too bad.   Everything was great up until this past month. I have been breastfeeding and my body can't keep up with her and me anymore.  I have started losing my hair as bad as I did after surgery, and I've been having dizzy spells.  So doc says I have to stop breastfeeding.  She got it for three months so she got a good start at least.  Some of it was my fault for not eating properly  but I would get so busy I would forget to eat, and since surgery I don't really ever feel hungry anymore so it's easy to forget.   And I have more news we will be moving back to Alabama in two months, the four years we have lived here have been great, but it's time to go home.  Frances how about a get together before I leave.  I would really like to see everyone again before I go.   Tina

Excellent idea, Tina! What a thrill it is to hear from you and Korleigh. I'm smiling so hard, I'm burning calories. I'm just like a social secretary and I'm very open to ideas. I know football season is about to start and that means busy Thursdays and Fridays for many folks. Let's here from you Denham-Walker-Livingston-Baton Rouge-Zachary-Gonzales, what sounds good? My son is playing football already, he has practice, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with a game on Saturday.  So I have a busy schedule.    But hubby meets me there at about six and I can leave after that.  So if we could get together in Denham I should be able to make it anyday.

Can't wait to see everybody again.

I'd love to see everyone as well.  I'm open to almost any day/evening these days.  I kinda play it by ear.  Tina, I'm glad to hear that things are going well for you, even with the hair loss, at least you are aware of what the cause is and are doing something about it.  Y'all let me know when and where and I'll do my best to make it! Thanks Cindee.  Anytime is fine with me.  So I guess Mrs. Frances should pick a time that is good for her.  We could even do a lunch date.

Hi Tina,  Cograts on your little girl... I am glad all went well.  To me it seemed like baby # 2 was the biggest adjustment out of my three.  Where are the pictures?   Glad you are getting to move back home, I know you must be thrilled.   My daughter just moved down to Baton Rouge, am hoping one day to make it down there and be able to meet some of the folks down south... Again congrats on your little one, I am so happy for you.  Jodi
