Hello all, I have not posted in a really long time. I have been so busy that I have not been on in a while.  But I am soooooooooooo mad at myslef for let old habits come back. I am one of the ones who had wls and can eat pretty much everything even sugar with out dumping it. So any way I ahve managed to gain 12-25 pounds.  I started at 226 and got all the way down to 135 and now I am back up to 146 pounds.  So am am needing some support. I am starting to get back on track.  I strat a new job tomorrow and I can't have any food at my desk which is good I can have a drink though.  When I was doing good I was drinking more than I ate now I am eating more than drinking. Some days it is like I never had surgery and some days I can't hardly eat it is weird.  But I was wandering if any one had any suggestions.  Thank you all, Chrissy

Chrissy, I think you should remember that life has afforded you the opportunity to be "normal." Normal people do deal with the ups and downs of weight loss and gain. It's important to remember where you're been and that your tool and YOU had a role in getting you to your many victories. The tool may have altered effects, but work on the restrictive end of what your pouch gives you. I know I have a slightly smaller capacity for solid food, but are free on sweets and some crunchy carbs ....and drinks.  If offered, I will gladly accept if I have had a meal. I think I've tricked myself into having filling protein and fiber meals so even when I'm weakened by a craving, there's only so much room for it. Don't get me wrong, I'm no food saint and I've also gained some weight, but I know I can lose it like a normal person. I urge you to give yourself both some slack and some credit -- life is hard, but you've climbed some tough mountains before. Recognize the patterns you describe and learn how to use them to your advantage. That's my suggestion -- that and FIBER FOODS as tolerated. All my best, Frances

Hey Chrissy,  I saw your PM before I saw this post and I responded to it... Girl you have done well and I like what Francis has said.  You can get back on track and if you need to pm or email me please feel free to...You and I took this journey together we suffered through our plataus and rejoiced in our losses.  We can work together to get you back on track...I know you can do it.   Oh by the way I mentioned in my PM about Taylor being in Baton Rouge, her roommate is from New Orleans.  I am sure she will be going down there too.   Keep your drink at your desk and drink away girl, that will help you too.   Hugs,  Jodi

How long has it been since your surgery. You know they say old habits are hard to break. You need to get back on tack and keep yourself in the right frame of mind and it will take you far. Hope you do well starting a new job, that is always stressful. Eat right and get back on track. I know you can do it! Good luck! Tie
