medicaiad and doctor visits.....

Hi .I wanted to know if anyone has had this happen to them.I was told that after 12 visits to the doctor,medicaiad doesnt pay for remaining visits.Is this true or what?I went to visit my GYN and they told me that Im out of visits.Im like what I just had norvasure done and now I cant see my GYN.So Im wondering will they pay for my visits to my heart surgeon and heart doctor?Why have medicaid if you have to go through  that ... will someone email me  [email protected] Have a bless day!!!!

You need to contact medicad because they do have a limit on how many visits you get a year. Im not sure of the number of visits they allow but there is so many well visits and so many emergency visits a year.

That is correct.  12 visit max unless its an emergency, then sometimes they will reconsider it.  I do billing in the medical field, they don't approve it too often after 12 visits unless its life threatening. Sorry! Good Luck
