Hi Ashely, Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for tomorrow.  You will do great and trust me - these nerves and your surgery is a very small price to pay for all the weight loss rewards headed your way!  Best wishes, Lisa

Well I made it through surgery and four days in the hospital.  It was very uneventful.  Besides being completely scared out of my mind, I think I did ok.  Dr. Barnes repaired my hyiatial hernia and done my surgery laprascopic.  When I came out of surgery the nurse in recovery gave me Toridol which I cannot take bc i have a hx of astham.  It felt like I could not breath, like someone was choking me.  Then I was really nauseated.  After getting over that everything went ok.  The hardest part was getting out of bed but now I have been getting up and getting around on my own.  The nurses that took care of me were so awesome! The only problem I had was whoever answered the nurse call lights bc they sure forgot to give my nurse his/her messages.  I was very upset with that.  The janitorial service was extremely loud when they came in to clean the rooms.  They good of had the decency to be alot quieter.  I was glad to have been in there for four days with some peace and quiet.  I have currently lost 8 pounds since I weighed in on Monday but that is probably bc I cannot stand the smell of food, or even the sight of broth.  I barely get 10oz of water down a day.  This is a long road but I am glad I took it.  It is very worth it! Thanks to all of you who kept me in your prayers.
