Well, I went for Post-Op yesterday.  Everything was fine and cleared for take-off.  I am both excited and nervous.  I have tried to play it "cool" but having four children, scares me about going under the gas.  I have only told my 17 year old that I am having a "mild procedure" done.   I believe everything will be ok but ...the devil creeps in sometimes to give me doubt.  Please pray for me.  When they asked me during pre-op what my first goal is, I replied "get out of it alive".

We are both in the same area of town.  I am scheduled for surgery on Aug 7th.  This surgery is a major surgery, you should tell your family because that is going to be your cheer team.  That is my opinion.  I have an 8 yr old and she is so excitied and she has known from the beginning.  Hope everything goes well.  Keep in contact. Thanks Anna, I will talk to them this next week...I just don't want them worrying up until the day.  The less they worry the better.  Hubby knows...parents know.. mother n law just found out and a few close friends and co-workers know.  I will stay in touch.  I think this board will be an accountability for me.
