Hello to all. Everything went perfect with the surgery. The only thing that I had a problem with was my horrible breath. I ate Altoids for that. Did I mention "DON'T EVER EAT ALTOIDS AFTER THIS SURGERY". OMG, I had mega gasses flowing in my body. Hurt like Hell. Other than that, I feel awsome. 5 days out, and have already lost 20 lbs. This is just the begining of my new life. Thank you for everyone's support. I will keep everyone posted, and feel free to ask questions. Talk to you soon, Johnny

Good to hear from you, Johnny. Bad news is not much can be done about the breath issue -- it's a temporary change in metabolism within your internal organs -- ketosis. Good news is that it's temporary. And now that we mention it, I think ALTOIDS should carry a label. There's so many things one shouldn't do with them. They are killer on your insides when you have reflux also. The 20 pounds does not surprise me. You are going to go to new heights -- and very quickly. Onward! Frances

Congrats my friend.  20lbs is wonderful for just 5 days.  I actually came home weighing more because of all the fluids so 20 is great.  Just hang on cuz it gets better and better.

~~Jodi~~ Actually below goal with 100lbs loss

Congratulations and welcome to the loosing side.  Keep moving and drinking and you'll be losing more as your first month progresses. You are so correct, this is the new beginning of your new life and trust me -- you will enjoy it.
