Ochsner Surgical Weight Loss Program

Support Group Meeting

Tuesday, July 17th

Noon

Caldwell Room, 2nd floor Brent House

Program:

Roundtable Introductions (Noon - 12:15 p.m.) In addition to your name, surgery date and weight loss to date, share with the group one of your favorite WOW moments so far. If you are pre-op, tell us what WOW moment you are most looking forward to.

Group Discussion (12:15 p.m. - 12:40 p.m.) Surgery Expectations: Did you or are you planning to set goals? Are those goals related to a number on a scale, BMI, clothing size, or your health? Has your weight loss surgery experience met or exceeded your expectations to date? Let's talk about it!

Group Activity (12:40 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.) Brainstorming session about discussion topics and activities for future meetings. Nail down agenda for next three months and explore possibilities for three additional months.

I am going to try to get off of work to come this one sounds like a really interesting one and seems like it might answer alot of my questions I have and im sure September 5th will be here sooner than i realize
