On my way to Louisiana!

Hi.  I'm Jill and I live in PA.  I had my surgery 3 week ago, but I'm headed to Slidell, Louisiana on a missions trip.  Am I nuts?  Maybe, but I've never felt better!  I've lost 27 pounds and have cut my BP and diabetes medications.  I'm supposed to start pureed foods today, but I think I'm gonna stick with full liquids so I don't risk getting sick while I'm away.  Our team is staying at Faith Bible Church in Slidell, and I just wanted to stop by the Louisiana board to say hello.  We're driving, so I don't expect we'll be there before Saturday.  But I'm looking forward to seeing your state.  I've never been there before!

Blessings, Jill

Welcome to Louisiana Jill!!! Remember, it's very hot and humid here, so you'll need even more water to stay hydrated. At your stage, that's the most important thing. So glad you're visiting, take it easy and don't overdo it, OK? Jen

Hey, Jill!  Welcome to Louisiana!!!!!!!  Hope that you have a great time while you are here and be sure to take care of yourself!  As one of the other girls mentioned, it is very hot and humid; especially right now, so, be sure to stay hydrated! Christie

Welcome to Louisiana. Have fun while you are down here. I only live about twenty to twenty-five miles from Slidell over here in Abita Springs, it is beautiful down here but it is very hot like the others said, there is a Crystal light Hydration packet you can put in your water that has no sugar in it. with no calories just a little sodium in it.
