i have not had my surgery yet but i can tell you that my impression of Dr. Richardson is that he is a wonderful person and very caring even at the seminar i went to he stood and answered questions that most Dr's would have told you to schedule and appt and he would answer them then. At my appt he was very sincere and asked me serveral times if i had any more questions for him. he really made me feel at ease and that i was in great hands all concerns i had about the surgery were answered and put to rest at my appt with him

Dr Richardson did my surgery last year and he is a highly skilled medical professional.  I would trust him with my life...Oh! I already did. Really he is very skilled.  He is not warm and fuzzy but after all he is not from the south...if you get my drift... and what do we really want in a surgeon??? He is a straight shooter, he'll tell you like it is and you will come to adore him.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Richardson. He IS nice but more importantly he is very skilled! I attribute my quick recovery to those skills! I ended up needing my gallbladder removed 8 months out and it was so nice to have Dr. Richardson as my surgeon for that as well since he was familiar with my WLS surgery. I also love that he is very sincere and genuine. Don't hesitate to PM me if you have any other questions. Best of luck to you, Lisa

He did my gallbladder surgery in 2005, and then did my RNY March 2007. I'm now 3.5 months postop and down 75 lbs!! That's **5** sizes!! You should see me now!

Yes, Dr. Richardson is very nice.  I had my lapband Surgery on June 18 and I'm doing better every day.  No, complications.  I'm still sore in the port area, but that is to be expected.  Trying to learn what my new stomach is telling me.  I see where this can really work!
