Our gatherings...

Oh, boy... I forgot about Metairie tonight. I'm so sorry! But, then again... it seems hardly anyone is coming to these things anymore, which kind of stinks. Last month, I waited half an hour at Puccino's in Metairie, and nobody showed up. The month before, Debbie Owens was the only one who came. In Mandeville, Jen came, and Brenie couldn't make it because she was just out of surgery. Where has everyone gone? I know summer brings vacations and other activities, but for everyone at once? Anyway, I think it's time to rethink the whole approach to getting together. I'd like to propose that we consolidate our gatherings -- one place, one day a month. This way, everyone can meet each other, and we should have a better turnout. Let's plan on meeting at Puccino's in Metairie on the third Thursday of each month (the day typically reserved for Mandeville). This should be doable for most folks in the area, with most of us only having to drive about half an hour or less. One more thing... these gatherings are open to EVERYONE!!! I've gotten several PM's from people asking if they can come, and the answer is a resounding yes! The more the merrier, so please come -- and bring a friend too. And if any of our friends in Houma or Baton Rouge (or anywhere else for that matter) feel like making the drive, we would love to see you! For those of you who are interested, please PM me with your e-mail address as well, so I can send scheduled reminders. So, in short... Come one, come all! Please join us on Thursday, June 21, 6:00 pm, at Puccino's in Metairie, in the Lakeside Mall Annex (near Linens-N-Things and Ann Taylor Loft). See you there!

Daydream, The Monday meetings that I usually attend have been changed to Thursdays for the next 5 weeks.  So for June and July, I will pass by Puccino's  when it is over.  If ya'll are there great, if not I didn't make a special trip. How have you been?  How's the house? I hope to catch up with you soon! Debbie
