Hello Louisiana!

Hi all, I am a regular on the LapBand board (or was until recently). I had the band placed in May 06. Frannie is a friend of mine, cant wait to meet her! I am getting married and moving to LA in 2 weeks. But the reason I am writing is this. I have an appointment with Keith Chung, M.D. in July and I was wondering, are there any Lap Band support group meetings in Lake Charles? Thanks for any and all info! See you soon! Bridget

WELCOME TO THE BAYOU, BEEBEE I think Dr.  Chung's group has support group meetings at Womens and Childrens, but his right hand Marcie should be able to tell you. I will be in Lake Charles some this summer, but we might have to do a road trip for you. My big bear of a husband fell down stairs at work and popped both knee  caps out of the socket. He torn all the tendons in both legs also. He's out for months and will be in a rehab hospital for at least several more weeks.  I'm so tired, I keep forgetting if I'm black or not. There are some folks in Lake Chuck I would love to introduce you to. Take care and....ONWARD! Frances

Frannie I love you so much! You are such a sweetheart! I CANT WAIT to meet you! Man you crack me up! I will even drive over to YOU! Im so sorry to hear about your hubby, I will put him in my prayers.
