WLS pre-op EKG problems

Hello my name is Deborah I have been reading all of your messages for the past 6 months.  I have decided to have the VSG, Dr. Drake Bellanger in Baton Rouge, LA is my surgeon and the surgery is scheduled for this Thursday, May 31, 2007. Has anyone who has already had WLS had an issue with their pre-cert EKG?  My wasn't normal but I was still cleared for surgery.  I am worried about this and am wondering if I should have a stress test. Check on the VSG board, you will probably get a really good response. Dr D was my DH's surgeon. People at Vista were apsolutely wonderful.   Good Luck, Patience PS Tip for you while in the hospital. You can have ice chips 1 oz every hour but you have to ask for it.
