Protein pills??

I had my surgery in July and I am down 93lbs!!! WOOHOO!!! The problem I have had from the beginning is protein intake. The bars and shakes all make me nauseated. I have heard some stuff about pills with high protein supplement. Anyone heard of this or take any of these supplements. The reason I am getting worried so much now is I can see that I am starting to loose my hair a little bit and it is freaking me out!! Thanks guys!!

I am going to have my surgery either on April 30th or May 7th and the other day I won the door prize of some samples from one of the support groups I went to and one of the things that was in it was Proteinex Tablets that you take two three times a day which has all the essential amino acids in a 100% utilizable form, which is rapidly absorbed, providing a positive nitrogen balance. It also says this product contains a significant source of nine essential amono acids derived from hydrolyzed collagen protein and free amino acids. I haven't dried them but I am going to call and see how much they cost. I have taken the Proteinex liquid you take like cough medicine you take two tablespoons for 15 grams of protein each time you take it. yes I went to Proteinex.com and it said the liquid and the tablets both have 15 grams of Hydrolyzed protein per serving. The liquid has a cherry and vanilla flavoring together its ok but if I can take it in a tablet form I would be happier to take it that way. Where in Louisiana are you? I live in Abita Springs which is about thirty miles north of New Orleans,

We are not far what support meeting do you go to? I go sometimes with a friend of mine that had her surgery in Slidell at Southern Surgical it is the second Tuesday of the month.

Honestly, I have not been to a support meeting in a very long time. I used to go the one at Southern Surgical though. I am currently working in Las Vegas on and off on nursing contracts so usually not in the area.

Hi how are you doing this afternoon? I am doing great I will have WLS on May 7th, I am so excited! Are you in town now if you are in town would you like to go tomorrow to Ochsner's for a meeting at noon I am planning on going if you want to maybe we could meet in Mandeville and ride together.
