That sounds yummy. I'll be sure to have the ingredients on hand. Did your surgeon say you can only drink de-caf? I'm more upset about giving up the caffeine than anything. I don't see how I'll ever stay awake now I'm hoping I'm one of those people that get bunches of energy after my surgery. Dianna

I actually got the flu a couple weeks before surgery and quit sodas then. I only wanted water (it was a bad flu)... Then during my preop diet I quit caffiene entirely. My surgeon says ONLY decaf and he actually prefers you don't do decaf either... but he says he's not unrealistic... some just can't give up coffee, so they need decaf. The caffiene is a diuretic... it will deplete the water in your body (which we're already struggling to get enough) so it's a for sure. You can juggle the flavorings and change it up a bit... I'm also toying with the idea of fiber supplement being added to it too. Tired of trying to drink up this miralax in 2 oz of water. I do have bunches of energy after surgery, but it took me about 2 weeks to start seeing it. When my calories came up and I could do puree, is when I got my "oomph" back Kat
