Ok, I'm coming in town for a dr's appt on the 16th. SOOO I'm up for another meet-eat at Ryans in Denham Springs. Want to make it for a bit earlier this time? Say 6 pm? Any way I could get you to make arrangements for it Frances? I'd love to meet there again since I'll be in town anyway.

Could we do somewhere besides Ryan's I don't do buffets since surgery seems like a waste of money. But if that's where everyone else wants to go then I just won't eat. But I would love to come and see everyone. Tina

I would like to come if I can get someone to ride with me to the meeting. I just had my gallbladder removed last Wednesday. Isn't it around Hammond? How far is it from LaPlace? Pattie

it's about 40 minutes from Laplace. Go towards Hammond then take I-12 west bound to Range Road (Denham Springs exit). I don't know anyone else in the Laplace area, but you probably will feel much better by then. I was back to work as a nurse (physically strenuous) by 2 weeks after my gallbladder was out. So you probably would be ok to drive if you wanted to. Kat

If we plan ahead, someone can arrange for a meeting place at the library. Ryans was the place last time, not because of the food or even eating, but because they could give us a room on a Friday night. Thursdays were not good and the library closed early on Friday. The parks department won't do anything regular, just one-time events. Ryans was it and we couldn't meet without eating so many of us also fed our families at the same time. There are several people interested, so it would be great to continue planning something. I think I'll wait to see what Tina comes up with before trying to plan anything. I'm open to whatever and fairly flexible on times on a Monday. Hope you are doing well. Frances
