How do I get help???

I read about several people who were able to get wls with Medicaid. My children are on Medicaid, but I'm not since I work. But I work for the state, and they don't cover wls. Anyone out there working that was able to get approved for Medicaid to get wls? Would you share how you did it with me?

Getting WLS on Medicaid is not easy, not many surgeons will do it. You might consider a change in job? Since you mention your kids are on Medicaid, I'll assume self pay is not an option. You can also look into Vocational Rehab. One avenue I have not seen many look into is college insurance programs. Many colleges offer reasonably priced insurance plans (dunno benefits since they're changeable) that might be an option. You would of course have to take some classes to qualify for the insurance.
