Michele, I had my surgery on February 14, 2007. I had Dr. Richardson at Ochsner New Orleans and I love him. He not a doctor that will hold your help while you are in the hospital, but I didn't want that. The visits in the hospital were wonderful. He was true concern with your progress. I have my lst follow-up today and hope I can start my puree diet by Wednesday. I am not hungery at all. My problem is I want to snack out of habit. I live in Mandeville and I would not have had the surgery any other place. I did go to the seminar for Fairway Hospital. A Dr. Lavin. Ochsner was great. My friend at work had her surgery on February 12, 2007 with Dr. Kennedy. She was great with her surgery too. I am back to work today. I work at the Corps of Engineers in New Orleans. Judy, Great and Thanks for replying. I hope you get to go on your puree foods soon. I am an out of habit eater too. But i am really working on it. I have only heard great things about Kennedy and Richardson. I did my Psych Eval today and i have the seminar on March 8th and then first consult on March 9th....... so i will get this ball a rolling. Did it take long for you to get all your stuff done and get your surgery date. I already have the six month diet and exercise, psych eval.. Good luck to you Michele
