I have United Health Care and there was no exclusion. Besides it's not the insurance company that does the exclusions it's the company you work for. I didn't even have comorbidites and they paid for mine every bit of it. I use Dr. Martin in New Orleans for my surgery. Tina

I agree with the other poster. I have United Healthcare and had my surgery with Dr. Colleen Kennedy at Ochsner in New Orleans. Jen

I have United through my employer and I had to self-pay. There is an exclusion on our policy and it doesn't matter what co-morbidities you have. But I agree, the exclusion is placed by your employer, not United. Good luck. By the way, I had my surgery at Ochsner in December of 2005 and I self-paid and I would do it again. It hurt financially but I'm glad I did it. Again, best of luck.
