Hi Imanie, I'm sorry you have had such a hard time finding me. I had a wls appointment today and I was out late. I do know of one doctor who will accept Medicaid if you have another form of insurance. There's a new program north of me in Zachary and I'll have to ask around. A lot of doctors will take medicaid on a case-by-case basis, so you sometimes have to just ask everyone you can think of. I will make some calls and PM you tomorrow. Please keep the faith! Frances

I am very happy for you.You know what I cant stand is when a person had wls and just forget about those who is trying to have wls.Seems like you are not like that,you seem like you try to help people.The good lord is going to bless you.I praise god and I thank you for helping me.What is the difference between the rny ,lap- band,and the gastric bypass surgery?I had open heart surgery ,a mitral valve replacement 08-10-06.My heart doctor (cardiologist) suggested I have wls.He said he is going to send me talk to someone about weight reduction surgery.But every where I call they dont take medicaid,so I dont know what to do.He said the surgery will make me lose 150 pounds or more.He talked about the lap-band.Does it really make a person lose that much wdeight?How much does a person lose in a month.Can you still eat the same foods like before or is it certain foods you can eat?Does it really make you full.well ending this letter with good luck on your appointment and God bless!!!please e-mail me [email protected]
