Well I had my surgery on 11-15 -2006 and today I'm 6 weeks out ! Went to the doc for my 2 week check up and was losing a pound a day ! How wonderful is that ,now I've lost a total of 37 pounds. I should have lost 42 pounds ,but how can we complain . From going to not losing at all to losing, but I feel a lil depressed about how can I not lose weight all I do is pretty much water and a protein shake and maybe some soup or jello if that ! I hate to seem like I'm complain but I feel like I'm not doing as good as everyoneelse and I'm fail at losing not all the way but a lil ! Sorry for complaining but hoping someone out there knows how I feel !

Hi Michelle My husband had surgery 23 of Oct...he says the same thing, even though he has lost 75 lbs. It all came off so fast the first few weeks and now he goes several days (10-12)without a pound coming off. All of a sudden one morning last week he had dropped 3 bls and he was so exicted. My daughter is 18 months post and said she got to that point and now when she eats more than usual she will drop 2-3 pounds. She is in a size 8 now. So hang in there it will come off and you will now have days of no loss. BUt remember you need the fuel not only for energy, but also to light the fire to burn fat. When you dont eat your body stores. So down the protein and watch it come off. Good Luck and know your not alone , you sound just like my husband.

Michelle, hey girl!! I know what you mean about a lil goes a long way. I was like you losing a pound a day for a while then nothing for a week then boom I would lose 5-8 pounds in a few days. I had my surg on Aug 16,2005. I did that ever since I had surg. Then when I was about 6-9 months out I would only lose about 1-3 pounds a months. I am petty much done now I guess. Well keep up the good work.... Hugs, Chrissy
