Had a great time...

I just wanted to report on our get-together in Metairie last night. It was great meeting Lynn J., Pattie C., Diane D., and Debbie O., and we had a lovely time. Pattie is about a month out from surgery and has already gone from 14 to 2 prescription medications! Debbie looks absolutely radiant and has amazing arm definition (she's been working out and it shows). Lynn is truly inspirational: 2 years out and 160 lbs. gone for good! We're also sending positive vibes for Diane to be approved for surgery after 2 years of dealing with red tape and having to document all her diet and exercise efforts. For those of you who were not able to attend, I hope we can see you at the next round-up in Mandeville on the 21st, or in Metairie on January 4.

I also had a great time. Everyone was so nice. I can't wait for the next get-together. I told one of my coworkers that also had RNY and she wants to go next month. I really appreciate you organizing this. Lynn J., lap RNY 9/29/04 5'4" 306/146/135
