Insurence

I have Medicare and BCBS Supplemental Insurence in Arkansas. Im looking for a surgeon and a hospital that will except these for Lapband surgery. Arkansas has no hospitals that are certified as ABSC Center of Excellence for Medicare. Can anyone help me?

Try Schumpert or Doctors Hospital in Shreveport. I am sure both are ABSC Center of Excellence for Medicare. I have known people that had medicare use both hospitals. My surgeon was Dr. George Merriman and his number is 318-222-3132. Ruby usually answers the phones and Kim is the cordinator. All of his staff are great. Good luck, Jodi
