N.O. Area (incl. Northshore) people, PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!

Hi, everyone. I'm trying to collect info on what people's preferences are regarding "meetings" in the New Orleans area, in hopes that we might be able to schedule regular monthly meetings in Metairie and on the Northshore. Please answer the following questions, either by replying to this topic or e-mailing or PM-ing me personally. I'd like everyone's input on this, so I would tremendously appreciate your taking the time out to answer these questions. Also, even though these "meetings" would be in the New Orleans area, if you live outside the area but visit regularly, please submit your response as well. If, say, you live in LaPlace or even Houma and can make it to Metairie once a month, then that's great. Similarly, if you live anywhere in the Florida parishes and can make it to Mandeville once a month, that's great too. I would also like you to consider dates for meetings. It would probably be best to hold regularly scheduled meetings on "the (1st/2nd/3rd/4th) (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) of every month." Please think about what days you would usually be available. Also, please think about what days your surgeon's practice (if applicable) holds support groups, as we probably won't want our meetings and your surgeon's meetings to overlap. So, here are the questions. If you have no preference, just respond "no preference." 1. Would you be interested in attending meetings in Metairie, on the North Shore, or both? 2. If you have an interest in attending North Shore meetings, would you prefer to meet in Slidell or in Mandeville? 3. When are your surgeon's support group meetings held (if applicable)? 4. On what day(s) would you be MOST able to attend meetings in METAIRIE? (e.g., 1st Thursday of each month) 5. On what day(s) would you be LEAST able to attend meetings in METAIRIE? 6. On what day(s) would you be MOST able to attend meetings on the NORTHSHORE? 7. On what day(s) would you be LEAST able to attend meetings on the NORTHSHORE? Thank you!

Hi! I would be very interested in attending meetings on the northshore (I'm in Covington). I'm not scheduled for surgery yet but plan to start attending the Oschner meetings (3rd Tues.) when I can. Unfortunately, they start at 5:30 and I wor****il 5:00. Meetings in Mandeville would be great. I have no preference for days, anytime after 5:00. Thanks, Jennifer

I am interested in attending support meetings in Metairie. My surgeon's office has meetings every Monday night. I can attend meetings on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights.

I would be interested in attending a meeting in Metairie, preferably on Tues, Wed or Thurs, as my surgeon's support group meetings are on Mondays. Hopefully the meetings could be after 6:30 though, as I have to get to Metairie from the Westbank and I wor****il 5:00 p.m. Thanks for trying to put this together!! Angela

Dr. Thomas Lavin Metairie - every Monday @ Omega Hospital from 6pm - 7pm Covington & Slidell - varies every month www.whyweight.com 4. thru 7. I have no limitations on days as I work from home and can leave anytime I please.
