Hey, Louisiana peoples!

Hey, y'all: I'm new and tomorrow is my birthday. This year I am giving my self a new life: LAPBAND! I am not scheduled until December 14, but it is coming up quick. I really want to thank everyone who posts messages and gives advice and information. I have two friends who have had WLS (band and rny) and they have both done incredibly well, both lost over 200 lbs. I thank God for the gift of being able to afford the surgery and for all you guys who support each other and will hopefully support me too! Thanks, CJ Dr.Michael Thomas 12-14-06

Hi CJ, I'm two years postop with the lap band. The time just flies by, but banded life has been a real blessing to me. I hope you ask questions like crazy here or on the lap band board. i am also new here i will be having lapband surgery nov 17 which is this friday i am very excited and also very scared. i have been overweight most of my life and am excited about being able to control how much i eat. i will let you know how things go when i get back god bless you & good luck
