need help

I have moved to New Orleans area, Elmwood actually, (off S Clearview) I am looking for a primary care doctor who knows about wls. I had the DS done over 2 yrs ago. Need to get some bloodwork done this month as part of my follow up proceedures. I don't want to just get any PC Dr that doesnt have a clue about wls. Anyone have a Dr they would recommend? Thanks!! Ohhhh also seen there are support groups only on Monday nights in the area...any others? I work on Monday evenings. Or if anyone lives near, would love to meet and make some new friends!! Nancy

ty for your help. I called them and they gave me a couple of names but none that take my insurance. I have found a Dr in the area though and hopefully he will have some knowledge of wls. If not, I will just have to help him learn. lol. I have the sheet from my surgeon that tells all the labs that need to be done, so all I really need is someone to sign off on it. But I go next Friday so all is good. Thanks again. And I see you are pre-op? Good luck on your journey...I have never regretted it at all. I had my surgery in Aug 04 and am at goal and have no problems staying there. Have never had any issues with vomiting either which was a huge fear for me.
